pros & cons of neutering to dogs?

Yes.  I am unsure who I am going to have desexed – Missie or Jack.  So much harder for the female dogs.  Feel like I would be mutilating them.  I don’t want them to have puppies, think it would be a strain on Missie as she is much smaller (Jack Russell Cross) than Jack.  They would be gorgeous but Missie might have alot of them.  Oh dear!   When are male dogs able to reproduce exactly?

Jack seemed really keen on Missie as he got bigger, he was about 5 months then.  I have caught them trying but now he seems to have lost interest.  I think Missie might have been at the end of her cycle though.  Alot of this stuff is new to me.  I never owned a female dog before and learnt quite alot.  Poor little girl.

I had Boots desexed but I reckon he has grown his nether regions back, his pea is still stinky too.  Does anyone know is that normal???
