We fostered Candy from the Sydney Dogs Home at Carlton and then adopted her after a few short days!. Day one and I was already in love and wanting to keep her. She is so sweet , cuddly and so quiet I hardly know she is here. It's so sad to see all those dogs in cages at the pound. We just hoped we could find her a home that would give her the love she deserves and in the end that meant us keeping her. Being a Silky she needs to be groomed alot! Twice she has been given back to the pound in a matted, horrible, dirty mess. That is why her fur has been clipped back very short, I think it looks cute though! She is so adorably sweet and friendly I don't know how she could left this way. When she looks into your eyes you just want to hold her and let her know that everything is going to be alright. We have since had her for 4 years now and she has become a very social and friendly little pup. We love her so much and is definately a real part of the family.
