I initially thought he was a split tail and when i bought him, i was so happy to have tricked the petstore into selling me a split tail for half the price(the veiltails cost much less). Weeks passed and his tail started to join together. I realized I was the one tricked. But nevertheless, his solid red coloration is worth every penny. Even with fins disfigured, the way he swiftly swims around his tank makes me just wanna look at him for hours. He's a very finicky eater, he won't eat huge servings of pellets so i still have to cut a pellet in half until i buy another one with smaller bits. Compared to my other bettas, he's the most aggressive. He'll flare at his reflection angrily for minutes and wouldn't break the eye contact. He's offically King Bruce, after Kacheek's promotion to High King.
