My family believes I'm one of a kind. First off, I don't really look like the typical poodle. My coat is not curly, only a little wavy. My chocolate fur has a shiny silvery shade. Second, I'm quite reserved when it comes to strangers, but I have a demure sense of eagerness in meeting other dogs. At home I am very loud and playful. I get very uncomfortable whenever people hold me up though. They think I look weird because I get so stiff and turn into a breathing furry statue. My mom thinks I'm a spoiled brat, but well, I just love to get attention. I love to scream and scream with my high pitched puppy voice in the middle of the night. I love sleeping on my back, especially since my mom can rub and kiss my belly that way. I love to bite anything, everything! I also love to play - and fight - with Louise, my playmate and "betrothed" - as the humans say it. He's been bullying me since I came here, but my family taught me to fight back. Now I'm the one who makes him cry. I'm still afraid of Lyka though. She's been the major doma of the house for six years now. Sometimes she looks like she wants to play with Louise and I but I'm very scared of her, I try to avoid her and keep still whenever she's near. Oh, that old maid. I've been in this home for 2 months now. I know my mom has grown attached to me as I to her. I cry when she leaves me alone on a table or in a room. I prefer sleeping on the floor because it's cold and I can run around, but every morning I wake my momma up by jumping on her face and greeting her good morning with my non-stop biting. I know my family loves me. We've already had a number of trips to the vet and even a couple of emergencies (like when I choked on my dinner), and I know they won't trade me for anything. I often overhear the family talk about how Louise and I have changed their lives, and it is true. Because any dog, with breed or without, deserves to be loved and cared for... and when you do, we will definitely do the same for you.
